Overview

Learn about Spence-Chapin’s Host-To-Adopt program for children ages 10–13 from Colombia. Open to NY, NJ & AZ families for summer 2026.

Please register here and not on the Eventbrite website.

Learn about Spence-Chapin’s innovative host-to-adopt program that prioritizes adoption for children from Colombia, ages 10-13 years old. Families open to older child adoption have the opportunity to host a child in their home for five weeks during the summer of 2026, providing housing, care, and, most importantly, connection.

For many children, it’s their first experience of a nurturing family dynamic, and for both host families and children, it’s a meaningful way to begin building a bond before adoption.

This program is open exclusively to families residing in New York, New Jersey, and Arizona so our local social work team can fully support you during the hosting period.

Register here or learn more at spence-chapin.org/host.

If you live outside NY, NJ, or AZ but are interested in international adoption, learn more here.
