This Horticulture Technician Pre-Apprenticeship Program offers hands-on technical and pre-employment training to individuals interested in working in the horticulture trade.
This program develops skills for outdoor careers in grounds management, horticulture, landscape construction, turf management, irrigation, and related fields.
This free training program is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and is delivered by Landscape Ontario in Toronto, ON.
Program details:
- Orientation, Health and Safety, and Pre-employment Training: August 4 - 22, 2025
- Employment Readiness: August 25 - August 29, 2025
- Paid Work Placements: September 1 - December 1, 2025
- Secondary Trade Exposure - Carpentry: December 8 - December 19, 2025
- Level 1 Horticulture Technician Apprenticeship Training: January 5 - March 27, 2026
