Hope and Healing at the Service of Remembrance

By Reveille United Methodist Church

Overview

As we sing hymns, read scripture, pray, light candles, and gather together, we find strength, healing, and hope to overcome darkness.

The Christmas story is about the birth of a child; it is a story where we speak about hope, comfort, and peace. Yet, the reality of the world also shows us that there is much death, grief, darkness, and loss. To help us face and cope with the reality of the world, we invite you to come to Reveille’s Service of Remembrance. This service is our version of a Blue Christmas. As we sing hymns, read scripture, pray, light candles, and gather together, we find strength, healing, and hope to face and overcome the darkness of the world around us. The service will take place on Sunday, December 21, at 4:00 pm, in Reveille’s chapel. Child care will be available in room 102. A short reception will follow the service.
