We love pound cakes!! Believed to originate in Northern Europe, pound cakes have been a tried and true culinary delight in the Carolina’s for hundreds of years. Thanks to the many variations, this dessert goes well with any meal. If you bake a great pound cake………or THE BEST pound cake, you should enter our King Arthur Pound Cake Contest! We love pound cakes because they incorporate the best of fresh ingredients such as eggs, milk, butter, King Arthur Flour, and your special touch of magic.

This Contest is for Adults ages 18 and Up

Here are the Steps to Enter:

  • Upon Eventbrite registration, each contestant will be emailed the contest entry form along with rules and requirements
  • Registration is required
  • All participants must use King Arthur Flour (the flour bag in a sealed container or grocer receipt showing purchase of flour must be submitted to enter)
  • All participants must submit their recipe with entry (this will provide information in case of allergies for judges, as well as assessing flavor and aroma )

There will be first, second, and third place prizes awarded by the King Arthur company.

Registration for the competition will end on September 24, 2025.
