Have you ever had fresh homemade pasta and been amazed at how much better it tastes than anything you can get at a store? It might seem like a huge mystery to make pasta, but it's not that difficult to make, it doesn't take nearly as long as you might think, and it can be made with just a couple simple ingredients. Learn how to up your game as a foodie and home chef by learning this simple skill that most Italian Grannies have been feeding their families with their entire lives. We'll get you started in learning about the ingredients and the process and from there you can go on to make dozens, if not hundreds of different kinds of pasta. In this class we'll demonstrate making pasta with a hand crank pasta machine and also making pasta with everyday kitchen utensils.

This class is taught by foodie and home chef Dan Durica, who lives and homesteads at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage in Missouri when he's not taking off for the winter to sunny Florida. He makes his own wine and cheese, grows his own tomato sauce for his pasta, grows his own corn for tamales and tortillas, and if you haven't guessed yet, loves making things from scratch from ingredients he's grown. He's stolen his recipes from the best Italian chefs in the business. He has a Youtube channel called Hardcore Sustainable where he demonstrates his simpler, more sustainable life.
