We'll debunk common homebuying myths, explain the steps to take to begin the homebuying process, and then take a look at the Tallahassee real estate market, and explain how those stats are affecting todays homebuyers.

What will be provided? Do I need to bring anything?

Bring all the questions you've ever wanted to ask about buying a home! Light refreshments will be provided, along with workbooks and pens so you can follow along with the experts and take notes. Time will also be provided before and after the workshop for questions specific to your situation.

What does "kid-friendly" mean?

We understand sometimes you've gotta bring the kiddos, so we will have an area in the meeting room with some toys and coloring sheets. You will be responsible for your children, but are welcome to bring them along.

Is the location handicapped accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes! There are several handicapped accessible parking spaces in the parking lots immediately next to the building, a wheelchair ramp at the entrance door, an elevator, and accessible seating in the workshop.

This workshop is full, or I can't make it, but I do want to attend one. When is the next class?

Homebuyer workshops are typically held monthly. The next class is on Saturday, November 1st from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Main Library Downtown in Program Room B. To register for that class, email info@humrealestate.com.

Totally fine! Bring your real estate agent along! This class is simply educational - things we wish we would have know when we were on the same part of the journey as you. This class is not designed to try to persuade anyone to work with any of the real estate professionals you may interact with.
