About this event

  • Event lasts 8 hours

Credit.org’s HUD-approved class will provide prospective homebuyers with the information, resources and tools needed to purchase your first home. All graduates will receive a certificate at the end of the class which may grant access to services and products specifically for First-time Homebuyers like down payment and closing cost assistance. In addition, credit.org offers pre-purchase counseling – an opportunity to work individually with credit.org staff to ensure that you purchase the right home for you and your family.

This is a virtual class. Registration is required. Virtual classroom information will be sent with confirmation of payment. The class is $15 per person which includes the HBE e-book that will be sent at the end of the class.

This class is conducted via Microsoft Teams. You do not need to have a Teams account to access the webinar. All you need is a web browser like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

The class is interactive via chats and polls that are taken throughout the class to monitor participation. The class experience is best when taken on a computer.

NOTE: Individuals from the same household attending the class together must each be registered in the class for each person to receive a certificate.

If you are seeking down payment and closing cost assistance from a regional provider please check with that provider to see if they have a specific HUD-approved housing counseling agency that their participants must obtain their certificate from before you register for this class.
