How long do the sessions run?

Each meeting is scheduled for an hour, but do plan up to 75 minutes to allow for transition time and organic group discussions that tend to unfold.

Question 2

There’s no set registration fee, so how much should I donate?

Attendees generally offer a $10-$50 donation to join these group circles. First-timers tend to offer the $10 end of the scale because, well, psychologically I’m just a stranger you’ve met online at first. So, there is absolutely no pressure!

Question 3

What happens after I RSVP?

Once you RSVP to the event, you will receive an email confirmation through Eventbrite. This email will provide you with the meeting link and login details for the day of the event. You will also receive email reminders leading up to the event. Remember to check your time zone!

What if I register but can no longer make it?

We get it; things come up! If you end up needing to miss an event, send me a heads up at Sherri@TheHolisticSLP.com. Meetings are not recorded in order to honor the privacy of all attendees and to foster organic, real-time connection. Your donation may be applied to a future meeting of your choice.

Will I need to be on camera?

Be sure to check your device’s video and audio settings. You will be on camera — it gets awkward when people are talking to a blank screen, if you know what I mean. You may also consider a headset or earbuds with microphone capabilities, for added privacy. Please consider your surroundings.

What do I wear?

’Fit check! It’s a fair question because these events are virtual yet still professional. Sweats and athleisure calling your name on your day off or evening home from work? Totally cool. This is a no-makeup-come-as-you-are vibe, but also, sunglasses or hats that cover your face are not recommended.

What can I expect during these meetings?

All meetings are intuitively guided and facilitated by me. There is no agenda and it is not a lecture-style setup. In general, we open the circle with a welcome message, group intention setting, introductions that honor each attendee’s path and identity plus current energetic or emotional check-in.

What topics do we talk about?

A theme or question usually comes up during introductions and share-outs and evolves from there. We’ve previously discussed topics such as: intuition, personal development, career wins, challenges, burnout, sticky situations, intellectual property, ethics, research, local and global access.

Do we meditate together?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the flow of the group, I generally channel a guided meditation (10 minutes) and reiki energy healing to assist with integrating information and stabilizing energetic shifts. Insightful messages have also come through from loved ones and angels while honoring each person’s comfort level.

What if I have social anxiety?

I set the intention to keep these roundtable sessions to an intuitively guided predetermined number, as energies can get overwhelming when group size increases. Everyone will have opportunities to share, but people also join to receive and integrate information with no expectation to speak.

Why is it called a tea time, and do I need to be drinking tea to participate?

Tea brewing and tea drinking are staples in my culture and incorporating this is a nod to my heritage. Tea is associated with healing and relaxation, whereas coffee and alcohol tend to block qi flow. For me, “coffee date” and “drinks with SLPs” didn’t fit the bill. Tea is the vibe, but not required.

What happens after these group circles or roundtable sessions?

Attendees are invited to exchange contact information to stay in touch with one another if they feel guided to do so. Attendees may also schedule 1:1 virtual tea time sessions with me for deeper guidance. If you are available for future groups, these are pretty fun and we have many regulars.
