Holiday Photo Mini Session Fundraising Event - CoM SE MI Chapter

What: Support the Chamber of Mothers and book your 15-minute family portrait mini session on November 1 at the beautiful Nature's Playhouse, a beautiful indoor natural play and wellness studio. This family portrait mini session photography event is entirely volunteer-run and all proceeds go to Chamber of Mothers. With your donation, you will receive at least 3 top quality, professionally shot, high resolution digital images, perfect for your holiday card, a cute social media post, or printing and framing as a gift this season.

Chamber of Mothers is a national nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting mothers as advocates for paid family and medical leave; accessible, affordable childcare; and improved maternal health. Moms are busy and we want to help you cross your holiday family portrait off your to-do list as we raise money for our organization!

When: Saturday November 1, from 9am-1pm, 15 minute family portrait mini sessions

Who: We are the SE Michigan Chapter of Chamber of Mothers, a nonpartisan advocacy organization focused on maternal health, affordable childcare, and paid family leave.

Donation: Suggested donation is $50 to Chamber of Mothers. Full payment is required to reserve your spot. All funds benefit the Chamber of Mother's SE MI chapter. No refunds will be provided in case of cancellation.

How to Reserve Mini Session: The mini sessions are limited, so sign up before 10/31! Please sign up on eventbrite to reserve your mini session time slot.

About Our Organization:

Chamber of Mothers advocates for maternal health, affordable childcare, and paid family leave. Our local chapter meetings unite moms, giving them a safe space to talk about the experience of mothering in America and provide effective strategies for advocating for change in a way that’s productive!⁣ We need you in this fight. Here’s where your donation goes and what we’ll do together with your support:

• Build a community of advocates here in SE Michigan and nationwide
• Activate chapters in all 50 states, including chapters for Military mothers and Indigenous mothers
• Complete 6 Congressional fly-ins to D.C. to meet with legislators and advocate for maternal health
• Hire key staff positions such as an Executive Director and Director of Programs to help Chamber of Mothers continue to grow.
  The Chamber of Mothers is currently an all-volunteer effort, built and run while operating businesses, feeding babies, folding laundry, and doing the carework that fuels the U.S. economy.

Note: Aim to arrive 10 minutes early! Due to the short timing of the sessions and being entirely volunteer-run, we will NOT be able to accommodate late arrivals or reschedule for another day. Arriving more than 5 minutes late will result in losing your spot and non-refundable donation to Chamber of Mothers. If you cannot make it and need to cancel, let us know by October 28 so that it frees up a limited spot off the waitlist for another family to book their session. Your donation is nonrefundable, thank you for your understanding and support for our Chamber of Mothers mission!
