🎄 The Savannah Lighted Boat Parade and The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra will headline this year’s Holiday Kickoff Event at Eastern Wharf on November 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Park at Eastern Wharf. The Savannah Lighted Boat Parade, which is historically held on Thanksgiving weekend, marks the beginning of the holiday season in Savannah. Participating boats, adorned with holiday lights and decorations, will be led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat, and begin and end their voyage at the dock at Eastern Wharf. The Park at Eastern Wharf serves as the parade’s headquarters and staging area where emcees, dignitaries and the panel of judges will welcome participants and judge the boats along the Savannah Riverwalk.

🎶 The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra will perform throughout the evening on November 29 beginning at 6 p.m., featuring their signature “Savannah Sound,” which is heavily influenced by their Louisiana roots. Highlights will include holiday music as well as hits from Beatles to Broadway, Motown, Gospel and the Great American Songbook presented with big band soul.

🎅 Attendees can also enjoy the official opening of Santa’s Grotto at Eastern Wharf, where the intimate Daymark Lawn will be transformed into a magical open-air space decked out in festive holiday decor, twinkling lights and a lighted Christmas tree. Attendees can take free photos with Santa using their own cameras or phones from 5 to 7 p.m.

⛟ Local food trucks on-site will include The Big Cheese, Pie Society, Naked Dog, Slow Fire BBQ, Bayou Café, Jonny Boy Cookies and Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase with a valid ID and 21+ wristband.
