Holding It Together, Together: Leading with Calm, Courage, and Connection

In today’s uncertain world—where the demands on parents are higher than ever—it can feel like we’re holding it all together alone. This interactive workshop offers a space to breathe, connect, and remember: you’re not alone in trying to manage it all with courage and care.

Grounded in the belief that leadership begins within, this session invites parents to explore what it means to be self-led—to lead our families, teams, and lives with intention, presence, and heart. Together, we’ll unpack how nervous system awareness, emotional resilience, and values-based decision-making can help us show up more grounded and less burned out.

Through community-building, storytelling, and skill development, we’ll explore tools drawn from Polyvagal Theory, the connection between feelings and needs, and the power of setting and honoring boundaries. You’ll leave with practical strategies for stress regulation, reflection prompts to deepen self-awareness, and a renewed sense of connection—to yourself and to a supportive circle of other parents walking a similar path.

This is not just a workshop. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to carry it all alone.

This event is hosted in partnership with Alyth. Alyth Active has always been rooted in family and community. Founded by two moms who understand firsthand the juggle of caring for others while still showing up for ourselves, Alyth was created with balance in mind. We believe women shouldn’t have to choose between looking good, feeling good, or staying on budget. That’s why our activewear is designed to move with you—stylish enough to pair with pieces you already own, functional enough for your busiest days, and priced so that real families can say yes without hesitation.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this for?

This workshop is for moms, parents, or caregivers who are active in many areas of life—juggling work, family, community, and everything in between—and are craving space to pause, reflect, and reconnect. However you arrive, you are welcome here.

Will I have to share personal stuff?

Only if you want to. This is a supportive space, and everything is optional. You’re welcome to reflect quietly or engage more actively—whatever feels right for you.

Should I bring anything?

Just bring yourself! A journal or notebook might be helpful for some of the reflection activities, and you're welcome to bring water, tea, or anything that helps you feel grounded and comfortable.

Is the space accessible?

Yes, the venue is physically accessible. If you have specific access needs (mobility, sensory, language, etc.), please reach out—we want to make sure this space feels welcoming and supportive for you.

Can I bring my child?

This time around we do not have an option for childcare. We kindly ask that you arrange for childcare. If you need to bring a nursing baby or have a specific need, reach out and we’ll do our best to accomodate you. We will be gathering survey data from you about what you'd like to see in the future.
