On Graduation Eve, come join Ashley, Vera and myself, alongside our inspiring industry alumni friends, for an event with one single goal in mind – helping ensure your readiness for the exciting opportunities ahead in your future careers. Expect advice, guidance, insights and reflections, as we take a light-hearted yet encouraging approach to help set you on your road towards success.

Carla Nuttall is Executive Director for Corporate Affairs and Marketing at The Growth Company, the parent group of Marketing Manchester, that promotes Greater Manchester nationally and internationally as a place to visit, invest, meet and study. Carla is Manchester Met alumni, with 20 years of experience specialising in strategic communications, engagement and marketing across the public and private sector, including the BBC and here at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Suzie Heylings is junior planner Vivid Everywhere, the Chartered Institute of Marketing award-winning local agency, that delivers oustanding campaigns across sectors including travel, leisure, local government and charities. One of our Business and Marketing gradaute from 2023, Suzie is well on the road to career success - and will be sharing her insights on what employers truly seek from university graduates.

We’ll also be joined by Madonna Fyne Maguire, from our alumni team, who will be there to share success stories of recent Business and Marketing grads, as well as important info on how Manchester Met remains at your service.
