HIV Ending the Epidemic with Community Input
Event Information
About this event
In February 2019, President Trump announced the “Ending the HIV Epidemic in America” initiative. The effort will leverage powerful data, tools and resources toward reducing new HIV infections by 90 percent over the next 10 years. This initiative serves as an exciting challenge to help the County reach ZERO new HIV infections. Therefore, Riverside University Health System – Public Health will collaborate with community members and partners to create the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) plan for the County.
Community members are invited to bring their knowledge and experience to the forefront, and help engage communities most impacted by HIV.
Together, we will create a blueprint for more developed engagement with the communities most affected by HIV within Riverside County. This means looking for and encouraging new approaches to HIV prevention and care, accessing new voices within our communities and building a plan that caters to the unique needs of those most affected by HIV.
We can stop HIV one conversation at a time.
Join us November 14, 2019 from 3-5pm to start that conversation!
