Overview

Child care providers are invited to learn about early childhood trauma and how it affects child development and behavior.

In Module 3, Part 1: Introduction to Historical and Intergenerational Trauma, providers will be introduced to historical and intergenerational trauma and get to know themselves as individuals.

In Module 3, Part 2: Defining Historical and Intergenerational Trauma, providers will dive into definitions and concepts related to historical and intergenerational trauma.

In Module 3, Part 3: Connecting Historical and Intergenerational Trauma to ECE, providers will explore historical and intergenerational trauma with a focus on race and racism and its impact on Early Childhood Education (ECE).
