Historic Northshore: Guided Hike to Glove Overview

Event Description: Join us on for an adventure through the beautiful Northshore area. Our experienced guides will lead you on a scenic hike to Glove Overview, where you can take in stunning views of the Poplar River Valley. Along the way, you'll learn about the rich history and natural beauty of the area. We'll discuss the formation of Lake Superior, some of the Logging history of the shore, and touch upon Al Capone and the time he spent on the shoreline of Superior.

Need to Know: Dress for the weather! Plan to be outside for about 3 hours.

Level of Difficulty: Moderate

Ages: 6+, but anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We are unable to put car seats in our shuttle vehicle so any families with kiddos under 9 years old will need to drive separately.
