About your teacher
I’m Ewa Tamar, a Himalayan Kriya and Yin practitioner, researcher and creative.
I arrived at this set of practices after divesting from a more than a decade-long career in tech, which left me burned out and disconnected. I made a bold shift and started doctoral studies in social impact of technology and contemporary meaning crisis - something I experienced directly in a fast-paced, profit-first working environment.
While people around me applauded my bold career shift, I was struggling to define my next chapter, trapped in endless information-seeking and over-analyzing.
Exploring and training in various embodiment practices - Himalayan Kriya, Yin yoga, breathwork, meditation - I understood clarity doesn’t just come from more information, but through acknowledging, and connecting with the body’s innate wisdom.
Somatic movement has been the missing piece to greater self-awareness, clarity, and self-acceptance for me, and I hope it can become the same for you.
