Hillbilly Idol Reunion Show

Hillbilly Idol Reunion Show

By The Peninsula Foundation

Overview

Hillbilly Idol returns for a special reunion show - one not to miss!

November 22 - HillBilly IDOL started in 1991, with Dave Huddleston & Paul Kovac casually getting together to sing & explore the music they loved. This led them down the path to the Everly Brothers, Louvin Brothers, Chuck Berry, George Jones and many other heroes. By the mid-90’s, the band’s lineup included Bill Watson on bass & drummer Scott Flowers. When Al Moss joined on pedal steel guitar, the personal was complete. This was the band that made their two CD’s, “Town & Country”, and “Hillbilly IDOL”.

For this concert, Caroline King will join the boys, playing piano. Regrettably, Al is unable to join them on this show. The group will return to its roots, playing many of the songs that inspired & informed their sound, as well as lots of songs from their albums.

It’s been 20+ years since they’ve played together. If you were a fan, listened to their music, enjoyed their many holiday shows, had their CD’s, or are just curious about HBI, this is the show for you.
