Come join us for a fun-filled hike at the stunning Vasquez Rocks Natural Area and Nature Center! This in-person event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Catholic singles in a relaxed and natural setting. With scenic views, meaningful conversations, and a touch of adventure, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of summer!
We'll be hiking the Apwinga Loop Trail, one of the park’s longer and more dynamic trails. Expect a mix of uphill and downhill sections as we take in sweeping views of the Soledad Basin and dramatic rock formations. Along the way, the trail connects with the Bobcat Trail, Tokupar Ridgetop Trail, and even the Pacific Crest Trail, offering a variety of terrain that keeps the experience exciting and engaging.
The hike will last approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, so be sure to dress in weather-appropriate layers long pants are recommended and wear sturdy, comfortable footwear. Since it’ll be summer weather, come prepared with plenty of water, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Also, don’t forget to pack snacks to keep your energy up during the hike.
