Hike the Reservoir Trail
Overview
Difficulty: Moderate
Appropriate for: Adults
Leader: Joey Wang
About the Outing Leader: Joey is an outdoor enthusiast and has been exploring the Fells on his own or with groups for many years.
About the Outing: This hike will be a full loop along the Reservoir Trail. The total distance should be about 5.5 miles with some small hills. Some sections will be rocky. Depending on the weather, some sections might be muddy. We will be hiking at a brisk speed of 2-2.5 miles per hour for some good morning exercise to start a new week. Hiking shoes/boots are recommended, but a sturdy pair of sneakers is also acceptable. Please bring plenty of water with you on this hike. Snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, and sun hat are also recommended. We will have frequent water breaks along the route to ensure everyone is properly hydrated.
We will be meeting at the intersection of Appalachian Rd and the Hillcrest Parkway at 8:55AM to do a brief intro and start hiking at 9:00AM. We aim to finish before noon. You can find the meeting location: at this link. You can park on the park side of the street on Hillcrest Parkway.
