HiDef: Movie Making is a 4-day summer movie making workshop for kids who have completed 3rd grade through to rising 9th graders. The course is taught by B.I.G. staff alongside high school mentors who are veterans of Brookline Interactive's professional development in digital media internship. Each student will participate as both cast and crew for select scenes of the 1996 classic film, Matilda, as part of the Crowdsourced Boston project. Their work will premiere in our screening room on the last day of the workshop, as well be shown on the big screen at the Coolidge Corner Theater as part of the Crowdsourced Matilda screening in December!
This Summer Session of HiDef occurs from 10am-4pm from July 28th-31st.
Open to all 3rd-rising 9th graders. BIG will provide snacks, however participants should bring their own lunch.
All classes, including this workshop, are free to BIG Members!
