Life transitions are difficult for everyone. Moving forward and feeling complete doesn’t always go the way we envision. Sometimes, the change is harder than we expected, and we are often left wondering why.
This training aims to help provide some clarity for individuals who are struggling with having gone through life’s journeys. The use of the Hero’s Journey in the Sand will allow individuals to explore and experience the different stages of the journey in a safe contained environment. This training will teach counselors the basics of the hero’s journey and offer how to use this knowledge in the sand tray with individuals.
Individuals will learn how to work with children, adolescents, and adults on different life journeys, and allow for counselors to hear the stories that need to be told.
This is a hybrid training, limited in person availability and virtual options. All participants will receive a box of supplies for their own journeys
