Is this a performing arts showcase?

Accepted Answer

Yes and no. Yes as it displays different forms of art but no, as it is a show that has a beginning, middle and end, and needs your presence from start to finish.

Question 2

May I come at any time between 1:30pm- 4pm??

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may, but we highly encourage you to arrive at the beginning and stay for the entire show. Each performance is carefully curated and placed in a specific order to build upon the previous ones, creating a cohesive and immersive experience.

Question 3

Are men welcomed?

Accepted Answer

Men, are more than welcomed! I think there is something healing when a woman can share her experiences as a woman and have men present not trying to fix but hold  space for her as she shares.

Question 4

Will men feel uncomfortable?

Accepted Answer

With these Healing A Journey experiences, it will always start intense and get lighter in the second half, so discomfort is not relagated by sex or gender.

Question 5

Will there be refreshments there?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We like to offer healthy snacking opportunities to take part of throughout the show. We care not only about hearts and minds but also bodies!

Question 6

Can I pay in person?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can! We do ask that you register on Eventbrite and indicate that you will be paying at the venue. So we are aware of who to expect.

Question 7

I saw that there will be audience engagement, what does that entail?

Accepted Answer

There are opportunities in the beginning and during intermission for attendees to write on prompts around the room. We may ask an audience member or two to read the responses on the prompts.

Question 8

Is this a delayed womans month celebration?

Accepted Answer

No, we at Healing Minds and Hearts do not wait for a month to dictate when we speak about a subject and a time to promote healing.
