Buy a local Farmer Breakfast

Join us to celebrate Terra Madre Day with a delicious breakfast featuring fresh, local flavors straight from our amazing farmers! We will gather at Americana Santa Rosa to enjoy a wonderful Slow Food breakfast together at this Snail of Approval restaurant.

Your $10 donation will go towards buying breakfast for five Slow Food Farmers. The rest of us will also purchase our own breakfast from the restaurant — choosing from five delicious options.
*Accommodations can be made for allergies or dietary needs.

We will enjoy a special menu, a chance to hear a bit about Slow Food and Terra Madre Day, plus perhaps hear from a few Slow Food Farmers.

Americana’s story
Located in the heart of Sonoma County, Americana offers fresh, farm-to-table American comfort food at three convenient locations: Old Railroad Square in downtown Santa Rosa, Main Street in Sebastopol, and our flagship location Estero Cafe in Valley Ford. We are dedicated to local sourcing by procuring locally farmed proteins and vegetables for our dishes. In that way, we also support our community by providing healthy, delicious meals. We also happily feature beverages from regional producers.

Samantha and Ryan Ramey are a husband/wife duo with a passion for all things food. Ryan is a classically trained chef, and Samantha was raised working in the front-of-house of restaurants. They began their entrepreneurship as caterers in the Bodega Bay area before purchasing Estero Cafe in Valley Ford in 2014. Since then, they have opened two additional restaurants and continue to engage in advocacy promoting local sourcing and ecological stewardship.

About Slow Food
Slow Food Russian River supports the Slow Food global mission of good, clean, fair food and supports farmers within the Russian River watershed. We were founded out of concern for the continuing loss of apple orchards and work to engage our community emphasizing buying and growing local food.
