HELLO, HANUKKAH! Susan Novich and her puppets read the book + workshop

Join author/illustrator Susan Novich and her puppets, Badger and Hoopoe, as they read “Hello, Hanukkah!”and introduce colors and numbers along with Hanukkah traditions. Learn about latkes and sufganyot, and watch Badger light the menorah with the white shamash candle. Afterwards, Susan will talk about shapes and demonstrate how to draw Hoopoe and Badger using 4 simple shapes and 4 kinds of lines. With Susan’s direction, participants will have the opportunity to color and/or make finger puppets with the help of their accompanying adults.

The participation fee is $15 (ticket includes a signed copy of “Hello, Hanukkah!” ). A friendly reminder that space is limited in our cozy little venue, so please purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot.
