Hellions XC Summer Training Program

Welcome to Hellions XC Summer Training Program!

The Hellion Summer XC Training Program is an intensive and dynamic running camp designed to prepare boys for the upcoming cross-country season in early September. The program is scheduled from June 9th- August 1st, Monday to Thursday, 6 pm to 8 pm, and on Friday and Saturday, from 7 am to 9 am. Incoming 7th and 8th grade student athletes are invited to be part of the summer program along with the high school athletes.

Led by experienced coaches, including Coach Danny Areces, Coach Christopher Ventura, and Coach Christopher Garcia, the camp offers a comprehensive training plan aimed at optimizing athletes' physical fitness. These dedicated coaches collaborate to ensure that participants receive the best possible guidance and support to enhance their running abilities.

Beyond the rigorous training sessions, the summer camp provides a platform for team-building and camaraderie. Athletes will have the opportunity to form connections with their peers, fostering a supportive environment that extends beyond the track.

To inspire and motivate the participants, the program includes appearances from alumni and collegiate athletes who not only run alongside the athletes but also share their experiences and insights. This unique feature adds an extra layer of inspiration and allows the boys to learn from those who have excelled in their running journeys.

The Hellion Summer XC Training Program not only focuses on physical conditioning but also emphasizes the mental and social aspects of running. By the end of the summer, participants will not only be in peak physical condition but will also have developed a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie that will undoubtedly contribute to a successful cross-country season.

This holistic approach to training ensures that the athletes are well-prepared, both physically and mentally, setting the stage for a rewarding and successful cross-country season.
