This class integrates breathwork, heart-centered practices, movement, and guided visualization to create a mind-body-spirit-centered ritual that restores nervous system balance. Inspired by yoga asanas yet distinctly tailored, the practice takes an Afrocentric approach, incorporating Black cultural tradition and wisdom, to support the body’s innate ability to heal- using a deliberate selection of physical and energetic movements as medicine.
You do not need prior experience or flexibility, you are the expert in your own body. The practice is intended to tune in to your body’s signals, increase circulation, activate nervous systems, release tension, invite energy to flow, and create a deeper connection to self.
Led by Unique Shawdi of Hecka Holistic. Unique holds a master-level certification in Usui Holy Fire® Reiki and 500 hours of yoga training. These practices shape her holistic approach to integrating the mind, body, and spirit connection.
