About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

In her third collection, Durham invites readers into the terrain of a feral woman entering midlife amidst personal and cultural turmoil, encountering new insights in the realms of folklore, feminism, ecophysiology, and mysticism. At once restless and rooted, these lyric forays range far— epic meanderings on the path to becoming crone.

Heather Durham is the author of the 2019 nature memoir Going Feral, which was selected as a Next Generation Indie Finalist in Nature Writing, and the 2022 collection Wolf Tree, which won a Nautilus Gold Award for Memoir in Essays. Heather holds degrees in psychology, ecology, and creative nonfiction, and lives in the Washington Cascades foothills. Learn more at heatherdurhamauthor.com.
