Heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback is a powerful tool that can enhance therapeutic outcomes by helping clients regulate their autonomic nervous system, build resilience, and achieve greater emotional and physiological balance. This advanced training is designed for mental health professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of HRV biofeedback and its clinicalapplications. Participants will explore the science behind HRV biofeedback as well as learn how it can improve self-regulation, stress management, and overall well-being. Through practical techniques, attendees will discover strategies to enhance client resilience and coherence, leading to more effective and sustainable treatment outcomes.

Presenter: Dr. Britney Turk is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor. She holds current certifications in mental health integrative medicine, heart rate variability biofeedback, and dialectical behavior therapy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Florida, a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University, and a PhD in Psychology with a specialty in Mental Health Policy and Practice from Northcentral (now National) University. Dr. Turk has been providing counseling services to the community since 2015.
