About this event

Separation from a child can be an extremely difficult situation for a parent and can certainly produce a flood of tough emotions. For this reason, it is very important to seek support from others who understand and are here to support you through the journey.

When mothers (and fathers) aren’t able to parent their children who have been involuntarily removed from their care, and/or when a judge terminates their parental rights, it can come with layers of stigma, shame, and grief. Many parents, especially mothers, often carry this burden alone. We welcome you to join the Family Roots for Life Heart Strings Birth Parent Support Group online with a licensed therapist, Madeline Minor, LMFT, LPC.

This group is a safe space and support system for birth parents who are involuntarily separated from their children through foster care, adoption, and other ways. We offer understanding, empathy, and solidarity. Classes are offered at no cost. Let's navigate this journey together. We look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you to come to a place of hope and healing.

THIS IS A CLOSED, PRIVATE, INVITATION-ONLY SPACE THAT IS CONFIDENTIAL. TO RECEIVE YOUR SECURE ZOOM CODE, YOU MUST ALSO COMPLETE A FORM AT https://form.jotform.com/242048200055140
