Heart Space is a healing circle that provides a space for Black folks to decompress and connect.
Black August is a sacred time to honor Black revolutionaries and reflect on justice, power, and belonging. As the school year begins, many Black families carry both hope and heaviness. Classrooms can offer joy—but also harm, especially for Black children navigating systems not built for them.
What are we teaching our children—and ourselves—about justice, power, and belonging? How do we carry forward resistance while tending to our grief, healing, and hope?
We hold space for those nurturing learning rooted in care—at the desk, the dinner table, and beyond. We invite you to reflect, restore, and embody care as a revolutionary practice.
