It can stem from major life changes or disappointments, such as a job loss, a divorce, the loss of a dream, or even moving to a new city, because these events disrupt our sense of normalcy, identity, and future.

I am not an artist, how can I participate with the art focused workshop?

It's not about what it looks like, it's the somatic motion and expression that help. Creating abstract scribbles helps with grief by providing a non-verbal, physical outlet for overwhelming emotions, externalizing internal turmoil, and promoting self-reflection.

How much do I need to share during the workshops

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to observe and absorb the healing aspects of each workshop. Participation is not required beyond observing. If you need to step out and need extra support, we have people certified in healing arts such as somatic and art therapy there to help you 1:1.
