Join us for a Healing Story Session: Finding Unconditional Peace!
On August 24th at 5:00 PM ET, we invite you to join us for a collaborative storytelling event, where Kimberly Warner, author of upcoming memoir, Unfixed: A Memoir of Family, Mystery, and the Currents That Carry You Home (October 2025), will share her inspiring personal health journey alongside one of her healthcare providers, Edythe Vickers, N.D., L.Ac.. This is a unique opportunity to hear authentic, vulnerable stories told by a patient and her provider, shedding light on what it means to navigate health challenges individually and in relationship. Audience Q&A and conversation with the storytellers will follow.

Meet our Storytellers
Kimberly Warner is a filmmaker, writer, and founder of Unfixed Media, a storytelling platform dedicated to exploring the creative and emotional dimensions of life with chronic illness and disability. After developing a rare neurological disorder in 2015, Kimberly turned her artistic focus inward, embracing stillness, intimacy, and relationship as the foundation of her work. In 2019, she launched Unfixed, a media project that now includes award-winning films, limited series, podcasts, memoirs, and live roundtables. Her work has been recognized by PBS, Harvard Medical School, and the Invisible Disabilities Association, among others. Her forthcoming memoir, Unfixed: A Memoir of Family, Mystery, and the Currents That Carry You Home, will be published by Empress Editions in October 2025. At the heart of Kimberly’s work is a quiet but insistent inquiry: What if wholeness isn’t something we achieve by healing, but something we remember by listening?
Edythe Vickers, N.D., L.Ac., is the Clinic Director for the An Hao Natural Health Care Clinic. In her 30 plus years of practice, her focus has been to help the body restore and regulate its vital force or chi, to achieve optimal health and balance. She uses many modalities from acupuncture and herbal medicine to injection therapy and nutrition to help affect this goal. Her focus ranges from adjunctive cancer treatment to woman’s health to gastrointestinal issues to autoimmune diseases. She feels that her role is to continually act as a bridge between naturopathic/Chinese medicine and allopathic medicine to help best navigate each patient’s individual needs. She has medical degrees from the University of Toronto, the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, yet it is through years of practice that she has learned the key to both understanding one’s individual body and finding routes to comprehensive healing stems from a trusting and transparent relationship between both practitioner and patient.
