"He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'"
—Mark 5:34
Everyone needs healing on some level, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Come yourself. Bring a family member. Bring a friend whom you believe would benefit from prayers for healing. Catholics and non-Catholics are all welcome.
Prayers for healing and laying on of hands will be offered, as well as the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
On World Day of the Sick, people across the world take the opportunity to pray for the sick and those who labor tirelessly to alleviate their pain. Pope John Paul II established the day in 1992 to urge people to pray for individuals who are ill and for their caretakers.
What is Anointing?
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is for anyone who is undergoing treatment for a serious illness, facing surgery, suffering from the effects of aging, or trauma from an experience earlier in life. Sick persons who have been anointed receive God’s grace through the Holy Spirit. The person must have trust in God’s plan for their salvation in order to have the strength and bravery to embrace the disease.
This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation. A simple reception will follow Mass. A simple reception will follow Mass. Our facility is handicapped-accessible with ample parking.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
