Join us for a day of healing and fun at Patapsco Valley State Park - Hilton Area in Catonsville, MD, USA. This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and explore various healing practices. Whether you're a seasoned healer or just starting your journey, this event offers a safe and supportive space to connect, play, and grow.

About the Organizer:

Jenn Sowers, LCSW-C (Founder of Wellness with Jenn) is a Certified Nature Informed Therapist who uses the healing benefits inherent in nature to help people feel more connected, live more authentically, and improve their mental wellbeing. Jenn fully believes that engaging with nature and play are 2 cornerstones to being able to break free of societal standards and life a more satisfying, fulfilling life.

Purpose:

This event is a space for healers to come together in community and let loose a little. We spend our time healing others, and this is a space to nourish ourselves through play. We'll be outside, rain or shine, so we can embrace nature and feel more connected.

An Unstructured Space: In a world full of demands and conditions, we offer an unstructured, unguided space, to fill with whatever type of play suits you. We bring 'play' items, and you're welcome to bring some of your own as well (ideas of items to bring: hula hoops, yoga mats, music for dancing/mindful movement, drums, paint, canvas, ideas for nature art, bubbles, balls, crossword puzzles, chalk, oracle cards, etc). We hope you'll bring and open mind and maybe even some creativity!

Who is this for: This event is for anyone who identifies as working in a healing profession and is open to playing, resting, sharing, collaborating, referring, providing feedback, and creating a supportive community. Healers can include, but are not limited to: therapists, life coaches, nutritionists, people who offer healing arts/music/etc, yoga instructors, meditation teachers, massage therapists, etc. We welcome networking at this event, and we ask that you join with a mindset of abundance if you hope to network - trust that there are enough people looking for healing services that we can all give and receive referrals.

June 13, 2025: 2pm - 4pm

July 16, 2025: 4pm - 6pm

August 8, 2025: 4pm - 6pm

Where:

Patapsco State Park, Hilton Area, Shelter #245 (by the entrance to the camping area).

There's a $2 entry fee (by honor system) to enter the park. Since this event is free, we request that you consider making a greater donation to Patapsco.
