We invite you to join us Thursday evenings at 7pm for an intimate live music experience with Lady Ipo Kahaunaele, a cherished performer who brings the songs, stories, and spirit of old Hawai'i to life. Born and raised on Kaua’i, Lady Ipo has spent 50 years sharing her talents both locally and internationally. In our cozy music store, she offers a nice escape from the bustling bar and restaurant scene, delivering an intimate and heartwarming evening filled with smiles and laughter. Guests often note meeting her as one of the highlights of their vacation, as she beautifully embodies the essence of aloha with a deep appreciation for her home, her ohana, and the rich traditions of Hawaiian music.

What’s the venue like?

We are a small family-run music store located in Ching Young Village in the heart of Hanalei. You can enjoy a cozy and intimate environment for live music, browse our selection of ukuleles, guitars and other instruments, or even sign up for our beginner ukulele class.

What is the cover charge?

We do not charge a cover. Instead, we ask that you donate directly to the artist(s). We recommend a donation of $20-$30.

Will there be food and drink available for purchase?

We do not sell food or drink, but we encourage you to bring your own! There are several restaurants nearby, and you can purchase alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages at the supermarket a few doors down.

Do I need to make reservations?

Reservations are not required, but if you would like to save a comfy seat up front you may call us at 808-826-9633.
