About Harry & Friends
In 2025, the tradition continues! Our founder, Harry Tuft, will be coming by to swap songs and stories with his talented musician friends. The evening begins with an interview and performance with Harry’s guest, from 7:00 – 8:15 PM. After a 15-minute break, there will be a song circle, to which players and listeners are all invited. The song circle ends at 9:45 in order for the building to close at 10 PM.
On this edition of H&F, Mollie O’Brien & Rich Moore will swap roles with Harry and interview him!
Harry Tuft is the intrepid founder of the Denver Folklore Center and the namesake of Swallow Hill’s Tuft Theater. At his Harry And Friends shows, he’s usually the guy who sits and interviews various friends and musicians who have been influenced by him and all that he’s done for the acoustic music community here in Colorado.
For tonight’s show we’ll be turning the tables on Harry when his old friend, Mollie O’Brien, will interview Harry himself. You can expect some serious and not so serious questions and some deep insight into what all Harry’s done during his nearly 90 years on this earth. You’ll hear Harry sing a few and then Mollie will sing a few and, in the background, Rich Moore will preside with guitar and commentary. And hopefully, you’ll learn some very interesting things about Harry that you didn’t know before.
