A sound bath is a guided experience using therapeutic instruments such as crystal
bowls and chimes to immerse participants in calming sound frequencies that help the
body and mind to relax. These soothing vibrations promote deep rest, reduce stress,
and support mental clarity.
Georgie Buchanan brings a unique and powerful approach to sound baths by
weaving in live harp and song alongside traditional instruments. Participants often
describe this as a deeply moving and restorative experience, enhancing their ability
to fully relax and reset.
“The session helped me to switch off and find deep rest. Afterwards I felt less
stressed and found I could concentrate more easily.”
Nico, Harp & Song Sound Bath participant
Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day, reconnect with yourself, or
explore new ways of supporting wellbeing, this session is open to all, no experience
needed.
Sound baths may support:
Stress reduction: Activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering
anxiety and cortisol levels.
Focus and clarity: Calms overactive thoughts, enhances concentration and
mental sharpness.
Emotional resilience: Supports nervous system regulation and helps reduce
symptoms of burnout.
About the session:
In this guided sound bath, Georgie will gently introduce the
principles of sound baths and how they support rest, stress relief, and emotional
balance, especially for those new to the practice. You'll then be invited to get
comfortable lying down or seated on a yoga mat, as soothing waves of harp and
voice guide you into a deeply restorative state. The live music is tuned to calming
frequencies designed to relax the body and quiet the mind. We’ll end with a short
reflection space where you’re welcome to ask questions or simply absorb the
experience. No previous experience is needed, just bring yourself, an open mind,
and a willingness to rest.
