Finding focus and scope in the midst of complexity and uncertainty
Welcomes and introductions. It can be hard to pin down a problem situation when everything is interdependent and there are so many different opinions on the 'right' thing to do. This short introduction to taking a systemic approach, illustrates a way to structure a situation so you can design a learning system around it.
Introduction to Human Learning Systems
The Human Learning Systems approach starts with the belief that public service exists to support human freedom and flourishing. To do this, services must embrace the complex reality of the 21st Century world. Focusing on the relationships between people and continuous learning is key to meeting future challenges. Toby will introduce ideas around how to develop more relational services backed by pragmatic policy-making.
Spotlights: Learning in action
Shining a light on positive developments in relational practice and learning in health and social care services and place-based leadership. Louise will moderate contributions from key leaders on ground-up learning in action.
