Harmonize Presents: Sing Praise!
Overview
We've got a special first-time offering: Sing Praise!
In many ways, Sing Praise is connected to the beginning of Harmonize. It was seeing the masterful faciliation of KJ Song that helped to inspire our community and we're so excited to welcome KJ to their first collaboration with us! Their voice is as powerful as their facilitation and it truly a treat to be in the healing and harmonic space. Don't miss it!

THE EVENT
Sing Praise! is not your average song circle—it’s a queer revival, a ritual of collective prayer and joy, led by music minister KJ Song.
Sing Praise! is a place to wail, harmonize, stomp, and rise. It’s for anyone hungry for Spirit without the strings, for prayer without dogma, for a free voice that sings back, for a moment of communal aliveness that feels like YES.
This isn’t a concert and not a typical "vocal jam" — it’s a homecoming.
This is a song SERVICE, curated by KJ, without any dogma or religious affiliation. It's a place to let loose and sing songs that actually stir something deep. You don’t need to be “musical.” You just need to come.
🌼 What happens at Sing Praise?
- We sing. Accessible, spirit-stirring songs that loop and layer and hold us.
 - We bless. Ourselves, one another, the land beneath us.
 - We move and play. To remember we’re Alive.
 - We remember. That joy is holy. That queerness is a prophecy. That the Earth is not waiting for us to be perfect. That we create the church we've been waiting for.
🌈 Who is Sing Praise for?
*People who used to sing but forgot how.
*People who’ve never sung but always wanted to.
*People who miss the singing in church but not the rest...
*Anyone who wants to belong to themselves again.
*Queer folks and allies who know that the power of prayer and praise belongs to everyone.
*People how want a little more ceremony in their song circles. Less warm up games, more prayer. We get down to it.

THE HARMONIZE MISSION
Harmonize is LA's fastest growing musical community. The brainchild of a first-generation son of an African immigrants, a Berklee-trained barefoot Baritone from SoCal, a Jewish-Colombian son of New York chefs, and a first-gen, third-culture Mauritian musician, it was founded on the principle that singing is a birthright. We aim to create spaces for people to be heard in every sense of the word. From pop-up choirs to sleepy serenades to freestyle rap jams, we seek to foster spaces of belonging for all races, genders, sexual orientations, classes, religions, abilities, national origins, languages, and musical experiences. All we ask is that you bring an open mind and an open heart
