Martin Zellar
If you ask singer-songwriter Martin Zellar what he’s most proud of, he’ll tell you: “I’ve managed to support my family by writing, recording, and performing music for over 35 years. It hasn’t always been easy or glamorous, but I’ve found a way. I still love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.”

That love—and his knack for delivering heartfelt performances and quality songwriting—has sustained Zellar’s career since he first emerged on the vibrant mid-80s Minneapolis music scene as the lead singer and songwriter for the alt-country pioneers, Gear Daddies. The band released acclaimed albums such as Let’s Go Scare Al and Billy’s Live Bait, toured relentlessly, and even performed on Late Night with David Letterman before parting ways in 1992.

Zellar went on to build a respected solo career, releasing seven albums including Born Under (1993) and Roosters Crow (2012), both praised by critics. His most recent release, Head West (2023), marked his first new album in over a decade and earned wide acclaim. Now residing in Central Mexico with his family, Zellar continues to craft songs with the honesty and passion that have made him a beloved figure in Americana and alt-country circles.

Presley Haile
The first time you hear Presley Haile sing, you might find yourself asking, “Who is that?” The 23-year-old Hamilton, Texas native has quickly established herself as one of the most extraordinary young talents in folk and country music.

Her debut EP, Off to Find a Sunny Day (Columbia Records, 2024), introduced audiences to her stunning voice—at once arresting and wise beyond her years. With melodies that nod to decades of folk and country traditions while feeling entirely fresh, Haile has drawn early comparisons to some of the greats in the genre. A full-length debut album is expected in 2026, but even with just a handful of songs, she has already cemented herself as a voice to watch.

Dan Hubbard (Host)
Hosting the evening is Illinois native Dan Hubbard, a seasoned singer-songwriter who has spent over two decades carving out a reputation as one of the Midwest’s most honest and enduring artists. With ten studio projects, countless miles on the road, and a devoted fan base, Hubbard’s music blends timeless sincerity with wide-reaching appeal.

Known for his heartfelt lyrics and memorable melodies, Hubbard has been praised as “beautiful, powerful, and often seemingly effortless.” His upcoming two-part EP project, beginning with Vol. 1: Letting Go (fall 2025), showcases both his maturity as a songwriter and his restless creative spirit. Hubbard’s gift lies in connection—inviting listeners into stories that feel lived-in, personal, and true.
