Prospective applicants for the 2026 Rough Gems curatorial training program are invited to Union Hall Art Space to connect with program alumni and staff. This is the second and final information session surrounding the 2026 Rough Gems program, providing a relaxed setting for applicants to ask questions, explore the exhibition space, and hear about the experiences of alumni curators. Location, parking, and accessibility — plan your visit.
Beer, wine, seltzer, and NA beverages will be provided. You are welcome to BYOB!
Several improvements have been made to the application process and the program. Prospective applicants are highly encouraged to attend one or both of the information sessions. RSVP is encouraged but not required.
There is a prior Virtual Application Info Session, taking place on Tuesday, September 30th from 6:00-7:30pm MT. A recording can be found on unionhallenver.org following the event.
About the Rough Gems program
Taking place at Union Hall Art Space in six-week increments throughout 2026, Rough Gems will showcase original exhibitions produced by three, emerging Denver-area curators/curator teams. Each of the three selected proposals will receive mentorship and access to Union Hall’s space, budget, and has the ability to supplement the exhibition with one additional event or program.
2026 Applications close on October 27th, 2025 at 11:59pm MT
