Happy Hour is back, so come out for dancing and mingling on the Marketplace Plaza! Join us on Friday evenings once a month for a fun theme and good times. The event is free, with beverages to purchase (so don’t forget to bring a friend; furry friends welcome). You can pop into Whole Foods Market or JINYA Ramen Bar for some bites as well.

Latin Sounds - Join us for the kick off of Happy Hour at The Parks with DJ Harry Hotter spinning music from the Latin diaspora. Expect salsa classics, bachata, and merengue! Come on time at 5:30 to learn salsa basics with our instructor Orlando Machuca. Happy hour beverage specials featuring local craft beer from Soul Mega and delicious rosé wines.

Prince Vs Stevie Wonder

DJ Harry Hotter will deliver 2 hours of music featuring the recorded work of two of the most influential musicians of the 20th Century: Prince and Stevie Wonder. Join us for this epic evening of incredible music and memories at the Marketplace Plaza. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Line Dancing

Join us for a super fun happy hour to learn new line dances as well as dip and twist to your old favorites like the electric slide and macarena! Our favorite instructor Orlando will be teaching and leading along with our resident DJ Harry Hotter! Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

80’s Soul and Pop

Join us for a fun 1980s-themed happy hour filled with the best of pop and soul from the decade of big hair, bold fashion, and unforgettable grooves. It’s the perfect mix of smooth soul and high-energy pop to kick back, dance a little, and relive the magic of the '80s. DJ Harry Hotter will be on the controls and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Celebrate the sounds of the District at our D.C. Music Happy Hour, featuring a curated mix of iconic tracks born right here in the nation's capital. From the unmistakable bounce of GoGo legends like Chuck Brown and Rare Essence to the smooth soul of Marvin Gaye and the edgy punk of the 9:30 Club era, this event pays tribute to the rich and diverse musical heritage of Washington, D.C. Hometown hero DJ Harry Hotter will be curating the sounds, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

The Parks at Walter Reed is a 66-acre redevelopment of the historic Walter Reed Army Medical Center, featuring multiple outdoor event areas on campus that are inviting, accessible, and second to none in Ward 4.
