Join us for an immersive KPMG Tax session exploring how artificial intelligence is reshaping the tax function. This hands-on workshop goes beyond theory—participants will work directly with AI-enabled tools, using KPMG-provided laptops to tackle real-world tax challenges and test emerging technologies for themselves. Together, we’ll discuss where KPMG Tax sees the greatest opportunities for AI to deliver value today and share our perspective on how these developments are redefining the future of the profession. It’s an exciting moment for tax professionals, and this session offers a unique chance to experience firsthand how AI is transforming the way organizations approach their most pressing tax to have another look.

Speakers

Tracey Friedel and Charles Danguy from KPMG’s Ignition – Data & Analytics team

Charles is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Ignition practice, with over 18 years of experience in tax technology consulting. His expertise spans tax compliance, tax planning, tax provision, tax modeling and analytics, technology implementations, process redesign, and outsourcing/co-sourcing with large multinational entities. Recently, Charles has been at the forefront of enabling companies to implement Generative AI solutions, transforming how tax departments operate and innovate.

Tracey is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Ignition Tax practice with 20+ years of experience, specializing in Tax ERP services and technology-driven income tax processes and data analysis. She develops future-state target operating models by reviewing direct tax workstreams and identifies how ERP, EPM, and other technologies can be configured to deliver essential tax-sensitized data needed for efficient analysis, reporting, and compliance. Her experience spans multiple global finance transformation programs, tax technology implementations, and tax process improvement projects, providing you with leading practices and valuable lessons learned. Tracey stays current with emerging AI and agent-based innovations and actively explores use cases to potentially develop solutions that enhance tax processes.

Parking

Attendees can park at the One Eleven Garage located in a ten-story parking garage adjacent to the KPMG Austin office building. The garage is located at 206 E Cesar Chavez St, the corner of Brazos and Cesar Chavez). KPMG will provide validations for this garage.

There is an underground tunnel between the One Eleven Garage and the KPMG office building accessible through the Plaza Level. The One Eleven Conference room is on the Plaza level, just off to the side of the Fareground restaurant area. You can’t miss it if you follow signs to the Plaza level from the garage elevators.
