Hands-On Tatreez Workshop
Overview
More than a craft, Tatreez is a language of pattern and memory — a textile tradition that carries the histories, geographies, and stories of Palestinian women across generations.
In this guided session, participants will learn foundational stitches, explore the meanings embedded in traditional motifs, and engage with a curated selection of vintage thobes — embroidered dresses that serve as living archives of Palestinian identity and heritage. Through practice and discussion, the workshop offers space to reflect on the intersections of art, culture, and resilience.
Advance registration is required. On-site registration will not be available. The workshop is limited to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed participants will receive a separate email with details.
