Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of SuperAdobe dome building, a sustainable earthbag construction method developed by architect Nader Khalili here in the High Desert and used worldwide for affordable, durable, and off-grid housing.

At this workshop, you’ll gain practical experience in:

✔ Site prep and foundation basics

✔ Filling and laying earthbags

✔ Dome-building techniques for strength and beauty

✔ Teamwork and rhythm in natural building

✔ Insights into off-grid living & permaculture

💡 No prior experience is necessary! This is a collaborative, fun, and educational event.

What to Bring:

• Hat, gloves, and sturdy shoes

• Reusable water bottle

• Sunscreen and layers (desert sun + cool evenings)

• Snacks or a potluck dish to share

• Lots of energy and a willingness to get your hands dirty!

Provided:

• Building materials (bags, tools, soil, barbed wire)

• Shade tents and drinking water refill station

• Community learning atmosphere

Important Notes:

• This is an off-grid ranch. Exact directions (GPS pin + written guide) will be shared after RSVP confirmation.

• Cell service may be limited at the site.

• Children and families are welcome, but please supervise kids closely around tools and work areas.
