Hands on Basic Woodworking Class!
Overview
Lets make sawdust together! Join us for a Saturday morning session where you'll learn how to use a few common woodworking tools safely to create a custom piece from our inspiration activity and under our guidance.
In our shop you will recieve a tool safety lesson then a tutorial on the tools we will use. Tools included will include table saw, band saw, sanders, pneumatic nailers, and miter saw.
The particular activity we will construct will be decided closer to the date.
This is a fundamental class and will not require you to operate any equipment outside of your comfort level.
If you are a youth or have a youth under 18 attending, they must be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 ratio unless other arrangments have been made prior.
Basic Woodworking is taught by a carpenter/woodworker with over 25 years of experience. We are passionate about inclusive educational oppotunities and sharing our passion and knowledge with the community. There may or may not be a medium sized dog named Estelle in attendance.
