About this event

Multidisciplinary artist, Deborah Griffing, known for her imaginative dolls, will guide workshop participants in creating simple, whimsical fiber figures. Embracing the practice of up-cycling, participants will use remnants like old, felted sweaters and junk mail to create their unique characters. Demonstrating her unique process of merging the craft of sewing and drawing, participants’ creations will come to life using a combination of hand stitching on fabric and basic drawing on paper. All ages and abilities are welcome. All supplies are provided. Space is limited. Registration is required. Register at riffegallery.eventbrite.com to secure your seat.
