Are you passionate about helping individuals and families transition from homelessness to housing with dignity and hope? If so, we invite you to support Legacy Community Development Corporation’s Hands of Hope Paint Party — a volunteer-driven event focused on revitalizing shelter units for our non-congregate housing program.
Hands of Hope provides private, one-bedroom units with a living room, kitchen, and bathroom for individuals experiencing homelessness. As new tenants prepare to move in, we are working to create a warm, welcoming environment through a full day of painting and preparation — with the help of dedicated volunteers and generous community partners like you.
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Legacy CDC will host the Hands of Hope Paint Party, where community volunteers will join together to prep and paint the interior of each unit. To make this day possible, we are seeking sponsors to help cover the cost of paint supplies, prep materials, volunteer support (food and drinks), and basic furniture for move-in readiness.
Your sponsorship can make a lasting impact by transforming blank walls into a fresh start for someone in need. A financial contribution of $250 or more can provide painting supplies, while $1,100 sponsors a full move-in furniture package for one unit. Every dollar brings us closer to building safe, stable housing for our most vulnerable neighbors.
