Hands of Hope: Domestic Violence Workshop Part 2

Hands of Hope: Domestic Violence Workshop Part 2

By Support Network for Indigenous Women & Women of Colour

Overview

SNIWWOC and VIRCS host the second of five workshops on domestic violence, offering legal guidance, support, and community connection.

The Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC), in partnership with the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society (VIRCS) Newcomer Women’s Project, is honoured to invite you to the second session in our five-part Domestic Violence Workshop Series.

This session focuses on understanding your legal rights and options, helping you navigate difficult personal or family situations with knowledge and confidence. Our guest speaker from The Law Centre will share practical advice, answer questions, and provide insight into the support available to you and your loved ones.

We’ve created a safe and inclusive space where you can listen, learn, and participate at your own comfort level. Whether you simply want to be present or feel ready to share, your voice and experience matter.

A meal will be provided, offering time to connect with others, build community, and find strength in shared stories and support.
