Are children allowed to attend this class?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are excited for any little aspiring makers to join us in the DIY classes, but we do ask that if your little is under 13 they are accompanied by an adult. Please know that some of our classes use sharp, hot, or otherwise hazardous tools for children’s use.

What is your refund policy?

For a full refund to your original payment method, please reach out to our team via Eventbrite 3 days in advance of the class.

How can I get a refund or transfer if the class is cancelled?

If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled, our team will reach out via Eventbrite to inform you of the class transfer or refund options.

Question 4

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Our Union Market, Old Town Alexandria, and Richmond locations are all wheelchair accessible for the class area. Tables are high top, please contact us to request a low table for class accessibility. Our Georgetown location class area is on the second floor and is not wheelchair accessible.

Can I use a Shop Made gift card to register for the class?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our Shop Made gift cards can be used for classes, you will just need to contact the location directly to have the card processed in our system and we can manually enter you into the Eventbrite backend.

Do I need to bring anything to the event?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Teachers and Shop Made provide all class materials unless otherwise stated in the class description.

Question 7

I missed the ticket window! Are there tickets available the day of the event?

Accepted Answer

Our ticket sales end at 8pm the night before the workshop. Depending on the project, many of our classes can accommodate walk-in tickets the day of the workshop. Call the store to see if the class is offering walk-in tickets and to purchase tickets after the ticket window closes.
